HALLOWEEN DRESS-UP REMINDER:
Students who choose to dress up for Halloween on Monday, October 31st, must follow the BUHSD Dress Code policies found in the Student Handbook. Also, for the safety of our students and staff, masks, toy weapons, such as toy guns or swords, or other inappropriate objects, such as bats or clubs, are not allowed on campus. Students who come to school out of dress code will be sent home to change and parents will have to pick up any confiscated costume items after school.

Winter Sports
Girls wrestling is looking for more girls to continue the winning ways. Practice begins now, after school 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM Monday thru Thursday. Girls wrestling room. Coach Raymond Leon
Open Gym for basketball: JV and Varsity Tuesday 3:30-5:30, Frosh 5:00-7:00.
Boys Basketball Tryouts: Saturday, November 5th 8:00-10:00 Varsity and JV, 9:00-11:00 Frosh.
COUNSELING CENTER
Witter Elementary will have a Fall Festival on November 4th at night and they are going to need some high school volunteers. If any students need hours for community service they can call the Witter Main Office at (760) 344-0750 and speak to Carmen or Cindy to sign up or they may also send an email to witter@besd.org. Students need to use their personal email and not their school email.
CLASS/CLUB INFORMATION
Circle of Friends: Circle of Friends is looking for students who would like to be a friend to a student with a disability. Pick up an application from Student Services or Room 10. Circle of Friends will have our first meeting with our buddies on November 10th in the Old Gym. Make sure to turn in your applications and join in on the fun!
Class of 2025: Class of 2025 are selling Cowbelle's Tickets! Class Of 2025 will be selling their Cowbelle's plate tickets in Room 41 during lunch and after school.
Drama: Auditions for our talent show will be on Tuesday, November 1st at 3:30 p.m. afterschool in Palmer. The talent show will take place this Friday evening at 7 p.m. in Palmer. Entry at the door is $5 person with children four and under free. See Mr. Contreras in Room 77 or Palmer for more information.
